Welcome to Pic-Man, a studio built on artistry, passion, and connection. The name “Pic-Man” reflects Marc’s bilingual roots and his journey in tattooing. In French, "Pic" translates to "poke," representing the poking motion of the tattoo needle. The name, gifted to Marc in the mid-1980s while tattooing in Quebec, has been part of his identity ever since.
Marc began tattooing in 1985. Without formal training or mentors, he carved his own path, teaching himself the craft and developing a style that blends artistry with precision. Marc has never worked under anyone else—his career has been built entirely on his talent, dedication, and commitment to his clients.
“I was pushed into tattooing,” Marc recalls. “But I quickly discovered how much joy it brought people. That’s what hooked me—the happiness I could create with art.”
Marc’s passion for tattooing is deeply personal. While art runs in his family, he didn’t explore his creative side until he began tattooing. Today, he’s known for his versatility, client-first approach, and timeless designs that reflect each client’s vision.
From day one, Marc has worked to redefine what a tattoo shop should be. In the 1980s, many tattoo studios were intimidating, unwelcoming spaces. Marc set out to change that by creating a studio where clients feel comfortable and respected.
“I listen to my clients and work with them to create what they want,” Marc explains. “That approach has set me apart for over 30 years.”
Whether you’re looking for a custom piece or revisiting an old tattoo, Marc ensures every experience is personal, professional, and enjoyable.
